Maple Story is one of the best MMorpg

Fun little game. Nice concept and it is addictive.........HOWEVER! Grind was more grind than most average games. Yea grind is in every game but some games make grind non-existent, at least increase the rate 2x that way it won't be as horrible and trust me MS on 2x exp is extremely fun and also the thing is most of the time you must and I mean MUST level on mobs that are either ohko or 2hko.

Party quests were fun though, that I must admit especially killing boss monsters. However the grind between just has no justice, the quest? Annoying AND not worthwhile, sure +1mil people play but just around +1 mil look at other grindfest such as *ahem* WoW and Guild Wars, and also Everquest. Grind yes, fun yes, rewarding quest? of course. I even find the quest in Cabal worth it and that game does have a grind.

Yes take out the horrible community and economy and you got yourself a great game, but as it is now crap game. I can be proven wrong but do I care? Game was fun while it lasted but it gave me a bad after taste.

Oh yea.............MAPLESTORY DRAMA SUCKS! Ilook foward to ghost soul however, but after playing MS I have rather low expectations on such games.

Go play Talesweaver............kick ass game and worth the grind!

Boring, repetetive, grindfest, etc, its like all the other generic korean MMOs, but on a side view, the angle doesn't matter, its all the same crap in the end. I've come to the conclusion that all free MMOs suck IMO, I quit some even after a few minutes, some after a few weeks, out of 30+ none kept my interest even an entire month.

e.x i really hate MS, imho it just sucks, u need to be <10 or mentally handicapped to like it,i just cant stand "cute childish" games.....but i know ppl can have its own tastes.

i agree with u to a certain extent,but along all those years i have stepped with a very few MMOs which really got me,and most of them were free

DarkEden was definetly the best of them,knight Online another example...
sadly both ruined by hackers...thats wat i hate the most of free games

and prolly other ppl tried them and hated them, but enjoyed the most with watsoever game.

free games are here to be tried...1 out of 50 times u find the game for ur whole life (or at least for more than 1 yer lol)

Oh yeah, thats it! PQ somewhat made the grind unique. I remember I was PQ leader gettin in on Channel 1. PQ'ed for 3 hours straight without missing one click, since some people aren't smart enough to click there.
Community is what made me leave.

maplestory is a good game,but if u only get alot of friends and reached a high lvl like 50-60

High level is more like level 80+ Boast about being lvl 50-60 and you get laughed at.

I still see no point in leveling. So you get new items (that happens in every mmorpg game). You kill better monsters (also happens in every mmorpg). So what really is the point of playing? The grind is pretty bad when 0.03 percent is considered good experience. I remember that event where they did that double experience event. Everyone got excited over 0.06 exp!! Theres also no PvP and no dungeon runs at the end. Sure theres a ranking system but doesn't that just prove how you have no life?

So really, is there any good reason why maple is the best mmorpg out there in your opinion?

Thats not true. I think from 60 on you can say people are high leveld because if your an expircinced player you can get to 20 in 1 day, and 30 in another week. From level 50 the grind gets bad and getting to 60 is a pain. So i dont think 80+ is highleved. Also tehre are so many hackers in the game theres hardly any legit high level players
