Uh.... no? Sprite sigs can be better than normal ones if your any good.Just because it's a sprite sig doesn't mean you don't have to put in the effort to make a good background. Look @ my sprite sig. I spent more time on that then my FFXII sig above it.

yeah, man, look at legend, his wasnt all to flashy, or anything, really. but he had a really smooth animation, and a bg that was plain and complimented the render. the bg isn't the focus, but it still needs to look good.
