File Deletion Program

I was wondering if anyone knows of any application thats capable of scanning your computer for files and folders that aren't relevant to your computer anymore. Like folders that are empty, or files that were left behind from uninstalls (user data, etc). Im not talking spyware or anything like that, just a general cleanup tool.

Also, I downloaded the FEAR Multiplayer Demo, and I get this error when the InstallShield starts up:



Just wondered if anyone had any ideas on that?

To get rid of a program you have three options. 1. Use the default uninstall program thingy, 2. Go to Start Menu > Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs then select it from the list and click remove, or 3. Go to My Computer > (Your main Hard drive which for me is C so) C: > Program Files > now they usually either put it in a folder with the game's name or the company that made it so find that folder then delete it, remove all the icons in your start menu and desktop and ta da? o.o

No thats not what I meant. I know how to manually go through my computer and clean it up. I just want to know if theres a program so I can be lazy about it, and quicker.

yeah theres a program that clears out old files that you dont use... not a program actualy, go to Control panel and mantinace... then clear up disk space... that gets rid of old files and such

Ya know what? I already did that. And if you woulda done the same thing you would have seen that it brought no results that were informational.

Unlike some people, my friend, I KNOW how to use Google before I ask questions about hardware/software issues.

Hmm.. Ill go ahead and look for another download site and have it download while Im at class tonight. I got this same error though when I tried to install BF2 and BF2142 demos. Maybe its a FilePlanet issue.

edit: so yea I downloaded from somewhere else went without a hitch. I guess its FilePlanet or something. But anyway, that little girl scares the bejesus out of me. They couldnt like kinda weed it in there, that girl is just BAM shes there. Scarey.. cant wait to play the full game.
