eb games sucks.
Ok so I went into my local eb games to pick up a copy of counter strike 1.6. I couldn't find it so I asked the dude at the counter if they had it. He tells me that valve shut down the 1.6 servers when source came out and kindly told me source was in stock, needless to say I walk out of the store laughing my ass off. So any one else have stories like this? If so, share them here.

Get it via steam if you got a connection better then dial-up.
You will simply download the game, and need no disk.
Usefull in the manner that there are no CDs to scratch or lose.

no actully my facts are straight
STEAM + Source = no servers for 1.6 OFFICIAL servers
Other compinies still run servers just not steam ones although vavle still host 1.6 files for servers etc etc

I went out and got it from target, my parents dont like using their credit card to buy stuff online.
And I don't get what your saying rodent if it were shut down I assume there would be no servers at all on steam.
