Talking Telemarketers, Courtesy Calls, and Whatnot?

    Telemarketers, Courtesy Calls, and Whatnot

    I frickin' rule.

I just got a call, Some guy from "NRC group" or something like that. He told me he wanted to interview a member of my household aged 18-50.

I told him that only 9-year-olds lived here.

He said "........oh............. ok. Sorry." and hung up.

    I cackled like a hyena.

    anyone experience this?

heh thats a good one actually. In his perspective, It doesnt hurt, its his job just to wait for you. everything is recorded as well so he cant just hang up and he cant be fired for waiting because you told him to wait as well (as a potential sale).. so technically he gets paid waiting for nothing. Sometimes I dunno if thats a good job or not.
