Why is it when people from the old OnRPG come to this new one (after like months after being changed), all these "i'm back" threads are allowed in the general, whereas a person's "hello i'm new" thread gets locked straight away?

They are exactly the same, but one is frowned upon while the other is accepted.

There needs to be set rules ie no "i'm back" type threads should be allowed in general, as they do contribute to spam.

i think thats a great idea... the "Im back thread" "hello im new here" should be posted in newbie section..

because if they did that...on genrals section they would just to attract someones attention ^_^
