Opinion: Blacks are racists

I've been at a school that is about 70% black for the past 2 weeks now and you know, they're bigger racists than ANY other ethnic group. The black kids basically push around everyone else at the school and call the white kids Crackers, the Asians Chinks, and just plain make fun of Jews. A black person has the idea that they can say whatever they want to anyone else but if I was to call one a ****** he would jump me after school and beat the everliving crap out of me.

Slavery was abolished in 1865, 150 years ago yet blacks still use that as an excuse. Black people use racism as an excuse for anything. If one of them gets kicked out of class, their parents come to school and call the teacher a racist. This racism shit is really getting old.

Despite popular belief, I'm not a racist. I hate a lot of black people and a lot of white people. I hate a lot of asians and a lot of Native Americans. I'm a pretty hateful person, really. Black kids seem to be under the impression that living on wellfare and having "sugar mommas" is a cool thing. They all disrupt class pretty much 24/7 and act like punk asses all day long. Black men are rude, but black women are worse.

Black girls are absolute and total bitches. Now, not all of them ofcourse, just the average black girl. They are also extremely racist. A couple of black girls at my school hang out with white girls. They are absolutely trashed by the other black girls. Why? Because they're actually hanging out with white girls! Hmm... Isn't that racism? I'm pretty damn sure it is.

Now, not to offend people like K-Rizzle. You're black but you're a contributing member to society. You're in the Armed Forces serving your country, good for you. The majority of black people, however, are no K-Rizzle. They're completely and total jackasses. I hate them for the way they behave and sure as hell don't want to be anywhere near them. I don't hang out with white people who behave like that, what makes you think I'd like to hang out with black people who behave like that?

It doesn't matter your color, don't use it for an excuse. If you're kicked out of school for being an asshole, chances are its becasue you're an asshole. Its not because you're black.

I guess I'll describe myself for to give you some background. I'm taking 3 honors classes (would be 4 but i have gym). I have -all- A's. I haven't been as much as sent to ISS for too many tardies. I'm also a lacrosse player along with soon to be football. My other interests are violin, rock music, and computing with non jackasses on forums such as these. I enjoy computers, video games and having a good laugh almost every waking minute of my life. Oh did I mention I am black. I am proud to be black. Now that I've finished my application for MatchMaker dot com, I think i'll get to the point. If you were reading my application and there was no spot for race, would you think I'm black. Hell no you wouldn't. You'd think I'm a white guy with a purpose in life. Now that you've classified me as a racist I guess I'll just dis your race and see how you like it.

All white people are racists. They think every black person is going to be a slob with no purpose in life. They think we as black people can't do anything, whatsoever. As if we're incapable of simple tasks asked of us such as tieing our shoes or sharpening pencils. If I try to date one of their daughters I'll be damned if I'm not chased with a 12 guage within a week. Not all white people are bad though. There are the few that hang out with "us black people" and go shoot up the hood and rob stores. Ya know, that's what we do. But they're picked on by the other white people. It really isn't right. It's been 150 years since slavery but for some reason all white people -still- hate us. I wish it would end.

As much as I hate it, I totally agree with you. my middle school has pretty much two halves, a general half, and a Pre-IB half. The matter is, that the general half is allways referred to the black half, and the IB part is allways taken as Whites plus some Indians and Asians.

As of right now, the general half takes up about 2/3 of the school, and trust me, whites are a minority in there.

I have black friends, but I only have black friends in the IB half. Why? because everyone in the general side is a total 100% assholes. just yesterday some girl with a weave picked up my 2,000$ Saxophone and ran around the school with it, leaving me to chase after her. if you're a band nerd like myself, you know you don't want some idiot running around with your instrument. I really have no problems with blacks, it just so happens that 90% of the blacks at my school are asses.

Also I agree with you. It's 2006, almost 2007, and people are still taking advantage of their great, great... great....... great grandparents. If you've ever read a slaves diary like Banneker's you'll find that they arent stupid, they're civilized and uneducated, which isn't their fault. While being a slave is a very tragic thing to do, I guarentee that the common slave would like what their distant Grandsons and daughters are doing. I literally have seen kids at my school deal weed and such to other kids, and they seem to be proud of that. Also, one of my best friends was hit on the back of the head with a textbook while he was walking down a hall by a running general kid. he then passed out, had to go to the hospital and had a few thousand dollars worth of medical fines. Believe it or not, having drugs and violence be the core of a culture isn't the best thing, and I bet that the past slave would agree.

I know that this is a controversial subject, and there will be offense, but there from the people here who I know are black, I've seen nothing wrong.

Yes, you should be proud of where you come from, be proud that you're Black. You're on the good side of the two-faced coin, you're part of the seemingly dwindling Black population that has his facts straight. But you're barking up the wrong tree here. I don't think Saint has any problem with you, he knows Black people are competent, but if you've ever been in a poverty plagued school, there is a differant behavior between all races. That behavior is general jackassery. And sadly, the Black population has a much, much higher percentage of poverty.

The arguement here, is that these people simply need to get straight (Such as yourself) and that slavery isn't an excuse anymore. If Blacks want to stop White vs Black racism, they need to do their part also. That means you can't blame a white person for something they diddn't ever do, such as being a slaveowner or being part of the KKK. I have got more than enough comments about those thrown at me at my school for being white.

The irony is twofold:

1. Racism begets racism. The popular "thug culture" emerged originally probably as something of a self-defense against the racist sentiments against blacks, and therefore it is no suprise that when powerful movements against racism towards minorities were largely successful in encouraging understanding and respect, the message turned sour on the more violently inclined, and that with a combination of popular culture and media dictating their lifestyle, we find ourselves with a mostly urban culture composed to a considerable degree of African-Americans with strong sentiments against other ethnic backgrounds.

2. To make generalizations about a race is itself racism. I am no more fond of the "thug culture" than a lot of the others who have voiced their opinion, but you cannot properly classify them as blacks. You could say, "All thug culture is black." and be rather accurate (with a margin of error, naturally), but that does not justify "All blacks are involved in thug culture." It's a rather simple rule of geometry: if a statement is true, its converse isn't necessarily true. That's a false leap in logic and also very insulting to African-Americans. Perhaps you didn't mean to state that ALL blacks are racist and were expecting people to understand what you meant, but you cannot assume that of the audience, because you only make your message sound racist, and following my previous point, that in turn provokes more racism.

See, the problem is Saint, you just can't justifiably call the "contributing member[s] to society" the exception ("The majority of black people, however, are no K-Rizzle."). You're making a generalization based entirely on your perspective, and if in that perspective you are only taking into consideration your school, that pretty much undermines the credibility of your argument.

Now, to rephrase your message a little, I agree that there is a lot of racist sentiment against just about all other ethnicities and anyone who associates with said ethnicities in this thug culture. I dislike that as much as anyone else. I refuse, however, to draw any sort of conclusion about "The majority of black people" based on that.

The media is the problem. In my school we have 4 black kids. I think what your saying is wrong in some sense. Im considered a minority also because I am indian so yeah. I can't say I'm not offended by this, and as a black person, I feel the need to make my opinion known.


First and foremost, if your too much of a (for lack of a better word) ***** to take your problems up with the people you have problems with (even if that means taking a beating), kindly just kill the noise. If your going to let them copy your homework for fear of getting hurt, then you should really just keep your opinions to yourself.

Next point: Slavery being 150+ years ago has nothing to do with anything. Black people are still by large the most disenfranchised race in America. The Civil Rights Act (or the act that actually finally allowed black people the same oppurtunities as whites) was passed in 1964; that's only 42 years of equal rights.

Another point: Your dealing with punks, plain and simple. 70% of your school being black just means that the majority of the guys messing with you will be black; that does not make all black people racist. Unless every single black student has picked on you, your an idiot for saying that.

Also, as Fieren said, your dealing with the black people that disgrace their race. Ignorant parents are raising ignorant kids. Remember, most black kids today are only 1 or 2 generations removed from segregation. Because of this, the ignorant parents are raising their kids to not like or trust white people; it's sad but true.

In short, your what I'd like to call racist out of fear. Black people pick on you, you don't have the balls to stand up for yourself, so you call our entire race racist. I love all the assumptions that are being made in this thread... Firstly, we have those who refer to black people as african american. Thats a generalization right there, as not every black person is an african american.
Secondly we have all those go against racism, yet seemingly support "the fact" that blacks, whites, jews etc are different races even though we are all a part of the human race(if we are in fact different races, connecting a certain attribute to a certain race wouldn't be racist then would it? After all, a duck laughing at a dog for not being able to fly would never qualify as racism, if the two animals could speak).
Thirdly, we have those who condone the use of racism against racism. Bright.
Fourthly, we have those who get ticked of at others "generalizations" by overreacting to what is written, when it is obvious that what is actually written isn't quite in accord with the meaing behind it.

Ok seriously, the first post made some statements that taken out of context would be racist, but even I, who's not even a native speaker, understood the point clearly. Those who didn't are either being picky sons of goats on purpose, are highly insecure about themselves, or is simply failing to get the point due to language problems.

Racism is only racism when you believe that your "race" is superior to other "races" and act accordingly. Shouting "f'ing ******" in a fit of rage because a black person is beating the crap out of your friend etc, is the result of the situation(were you wish to hurt a person as much as possible) combined with how our society has become(were ****** is viewed as bad word, which it is). It's like how people shout F*** you etc, you just want to hurt someone with a verbal attack. It isn't necessarily because you have a racist agenda that you say something someone might think of as racist. As Saint said, he did not jugde blacks on the basis of his own "race" as he was in fact hatefull of all "races", and he was most often refering to the blacks attending his school. Yes he generalized others through his statements, but as I saw it he was simply talking about how he didn't like assholes of any "race", but that the blacks at his school in particular, made him upset.
Making generalization is bad, and so is making biased assumptions, but some logical assumptions can also be made if you view situations as a whole.

EDIT : before I get flamed by angry ignorants, I would also like to say that I do not support anyone in particular in this thread as I also agree with some of the last part of what Uskae said. If you can't fight for yourself, then stay silent or get to work so that you one day may fight for yourself. However, this applies to all people who sit back and call anyone racist if people aren't giving them the slack they think they deserve. A guy with self-esteem doesnt get upset even if the entire world is against him. If you cry and cut urself them moment more than 10 people dislike you or are being ignorant racist, then by god, I hope nature kills you. If all the blacks in the world called me white-ass vanilla cracker, I wouldn't care. I don't want to know people who have an easier time saying stuff like that than tying their shoelaces, no matter what "race" they are from.
