Never did play FPS games, but planetside's really the only MMOFPS there is. It's suicidal to run into enemy territory and start firing wildly, but it's kinda fun as well. Up to you to decide what to play. If you want some thrills play the F.E.A.R single player, it's sure as hell fun.

i think there is some F2P plan but its limited...you can only use a few weapons and limitations like that...for full features its p2p AFAIK
