    Default OnRPG's Lack of Grammar

SAINT WAS UNABLE TO POST THIS, SO I DID IT FOR HIM. DON'T SHOOT THE MESSENGER, PL0X

If you go to other communities like mmorpg.com you will notice something. The posts are usually well thought out and properly executed uses of the English language. You don't see posts looking like this:

I'm currently in Sec 3! Thats grade 9 to everyone. As I was chattering with me pwetty friends like everyday, today something new happened. There's this kid which barely reaches like...12 years old or maybe 10? O.o ( He looked like 10 to me ) That came and asked me and mah friend out...( Which eveyrone is either 15 or 16...) ...He was pretending to be sooo cool....which he almost ended by getting his butt kicked by our bfs =P...Kids of these days...-sigh-
Note the improper usage of ellipsis to begin with. Wikipedia has a great example of when to use an ellipsis:

The Chicago Manual of Style suggests the use of an ellipsis (also known as an ellipse) for any omitted word, phrase, line or paragraph from within a quoted passage. There are two commonly used methods of using ellipses: one uses three dots for any omission, the second makes a distinction between omissions within a sentence (using three spaced dots: . . .) and omissions between sentences (using a period and a space followed by three nonbreaking-spaced dots: . . . .). Therefore, there is no such thing as a "four-dot ellipsis." A period followed by an ellipsis may look like four dots, but they are two separate entities.
Read that and study it, children. It seems that you all feel the need to use an ellipsis after every sentence. In fact, I bet if you were to go through every post made on OnRPG.com you would indeed find that the ellipsis was used more than the period.

I also see a large use of "AIM speak". u dun ned 2 typ evri sntnce lik dis. Seriously. The whole 2.3643685435432 seconds you save by typing like that are hardly worth it. Whenever I see a post written like that, 9/10 times I just skip over it. It takes longer to read a post that was poorly written than one where proper grammar and punctuation were used. Actually, it takes me longer to use AIM speak than it does to type properly.

A lot of you don't use paragraphs properly either. Wikipedia defines a paragraph as this:

A paragraph is a self-contained unit of a discourse in a written text dealing with a particular point or idea, or the words of a speaker. The start of a paragraph is indicated by beginning on a new line and ending without running to the next passage. Sometimes the first line is indented, and sometimes it is indented without beginning a new line. At various times the beginning of a paragraph has been indicated by the pilcrow mark:¶.
This is how I see a lot of posts around here:

    ya man
    that completely sucks
    i'm sorry for you
    want a hug?
Thats a direct quote, ladies and gentlemen. A paragraph doesn't need to be used for every sentence. In fact, all of those were in the same idea. It should have been written like so:

Yeah man, that completely sucks. I'm sorry for you. Want a hug?
Lastly, I would like to see words actually written out. Yeah we all know not using the final "H" in "Yeah" (yea) is so much faster than actually writing it out and everything but to me it just makes you look stupid. So write out your damn words.

Yeah I've also noticed the lack of grammar here, but I haven't really checked out mmorpg.com. Hopefully, we all go to school so why not apply what we've learned? It doesn't take much time to type out your words and make a proper sentence. I mean we all understand if you're about to get killed in a game, but these are forums. It would benefit everyone! Power_gamer, I wonder how the people you quoted feel? xD

I also have this habit that if I spot anything wrong with what I wrote, I correct it right away.

Theres everybody's own style for writting, So i may not agree with the ellipses thingy, but i agree with the others, OnRPG does need to have their grammer fixed alot, But not alot of people are good at english and love to use 1337 language and engrish, ( English = good english ), ( Engrish = messed up English ), And the rules did not apply that people who have no knowlegde in english has no rights to join the forum, if that is it, Than im starting to think OnRPG is too proud of itselfs and thinks that it itselfs is good at everything, even english. Have a thought of people who failed english and trying so hard to prove that they are good at it, and you disencourage them by just banging onto them and say 'Your grammer sucks.. Your english is no good" and stuff. Sometimes it is'nt even that they have no good knowlegde in english, sometimes its just that they have their style, What matters is that we understand what he/her is talking about? We don't have to all stick on one style and make life difficult. Makes sense now?

It's just their style, why bother? Why makes life difficult, all that matters is that each other know what we're typing and saying. WHATS WRONG?! I DONT UNDERSTAND?!

I can't say I'm the best speller in the world but I know I'm probably one of the better spellers in my grade. I can't stand speaking in improper grammar, hell we had to read this story about a mentally disabled man and we had to write a journal entry similar to his. That basically means I needed to spell incorrectly but I couldn't get myself to do it. I prety much agree with everything you said, now that I think about how could I get myself to read some of the posts you quoted!

It's not the size of the post-count. It's the material within it.

Im looking for sites to sue people online, from google, and i don't know if I'll find one though, but I swear that if i ever find one, I'll immediatetly report the situation. Play it the hard way or the easy way, its up to you. Things are a mess right now, its all going crazy!

EDIT : Too late, already reported, but still need to contract with a IT expert and have him track down his IP address through this forum, than gonna contact his IP's provider for his address, than the lawyers will be able to contact him for further info.
