    I guess that woulda been smart, eh? I was kinda in a rush before...I wanted food heheh...

    Anyways... I don't have anything special. Just what came with my laptop.

    Mobile Intel 915GM/GMS,910GML
    128 mb approximate total memory

    I googled it...the intel site says:

    "Mobile Intel® 915GM/GMS, 910GML Express Chipset Family
    Guild Wars* Game Crashes During Play

    Symptom(s):

    * Game sometimes crashes during play
    * Game crashes sometimes occur when using inventory
    * Blue screen or Stop error may be seen with ialmdd5.dll file "

    Has anyone else experienced this? Does it happen frequently, or is it a rare occurance? And is it easy to play around it?

    Sorry about my ignorance, guys...

    Also...if I do buy Guild Wars...which version should I get? I know each is standalone, but which is better, and why?

    Well I can run Guild wars fine on my Integrated Intel graphics for my desktop PC.

    i have yet to try running Guild wars on this laptop, which has an ATI Radeon Xpress 1100, but if guild wars works on an intel, than i'm sure i can run it on this one.
    also, don't always listen to what the game package says, since on the guild wars box it says you need a Direct X 9.0 compatible Graphics card with pixel shaders. obviously my integrated Intel can't do that, and i dun even think it runs at a direct X 9.0 level, yet i can still play it.
    so i suggest you borrow your friends account if he has one, and test it out on ur comp...err laptop, before actually buying the game.
