It's not that we dont like Korean MMORPGs. It's just that most Korean companies lack ideas and make boreing grindfest games. Sadly their numbers far outnumber those of the companies that actually make the 'good' korean MMORPGs.

Well I would say most P2P korean games are decent to good.. All the ones people hype the most on this board are free MMORPG and everyone knows the reason why.. Also I have yet to see any other country offer a Free MMORPG that stands up to the free Korean MMORPG in graphics and gameplay.. Even though most free korean MMORPG are grindfests no other countries free MMORPG has done better in fact they probably done worse...

In terms of free 2 play games...

In korea, most of games are free to play because the competition is just too high... i think it will be like that here in the US soon too... But first, we need more broadband!

I should say put this in my sig. Well, ANY FREE GAME THAT WILL EVER COME OUT, WILL ALWAYS BE HYPED, AND WILL END UP BEING BAD FOR 60% OR + OF THE PEOPLE. ITS ALWAYS BEEN THIS WAY. BELIEVE ME WHEN I SAY THIS. EVERY GAME.

If you really want me to list the games that this has happened to (all of them), and examples of each, i will. And if you don't believe me i will prove it.

yeah guildwars is definetly not korean. Areanet is actually ex-blizzard ppl who worked on diablo.

i'm supposed to avoid the hype, but the thing is, i know i can't expect TOO much of it, (refers to LoA, which wasn't quite that spectacular) on the other hand, i'm just curious about this game, because they claimed that it's incredibly famous in asia. and on the OTHER hand, perhaps asians just seem to love the generic boring korean mmo's we hate so much

Im talking bout ppl complaining about almost every free MMORPG out.. Do ppl seriously think there will be a free MMORPG that will have everything perfect in it.. Basicly im talkin about the qoutes below.. They act like what they say are facts but they arent...

OK, the second quote is talking about the flaws of the game not bashing free games on general and the other one is talking about how free-games are overhyped. Nobody was bashing free games in general. Really, I read all the posts and when I got to yours it didn't make any sense.....
