I don't know if there is any way to get them back though.
Reputation: 13Happened before, which is why I always back up my bookmarks on Firefox. You could try getting your data back (search www.download.com for tips) but it's not very likely that you will be able to get it.
In case something like this happens again, I suggest getting the Firefox Bookmarks Sync add on. This way, if you ever lose your bookmarks, just sign into the Sync, and you'll be able to get all your bookmarks back. Another thing you could do is just make an account at Del.icio.us and put all your bookmarks there.

If you do want to do what FabianN suggested, go into My Computer, and at the top you'll see 'Tools'. Click on that, and go to Folder Options. Then, you'll see a tab that says 'View', click on that and you'll also see something that says 'Hidden Folders and Files'. Check the box that says 'Show Hidden Folders' and click 'OK'
Now go into the Local Disk and click the folder that says "Documents and setting". Find the user that you're using, and click it. It should bring you to a page full of folders. Click on "Application Data" and find Mozilla. Click Firefox> Profiles> ******.default> Bookmark Backup. Hopefully, you'll find what you want. Just copy and paste that into the .Default folder, and try rebooting Firefox.
