    Arrow Korean MMOs suck.

    This is my opinion:

    There's nothing innovative and all of them have the same game genres. Also, many of them are just cheap reproductions of other ones. They plain suck. You'll only like them if you like grinding your ass off. I abhor grinding myself, and I will end this by saying that this is my first and last post on this forum and that I am much smarter than you will ever be.

    By what most of you call "grinding", it would seem that you would not like DDO's character leveling system.

    Going up your first level will seem like forever.

    Cause leveling in DDO looks like leveling on pen-n-paper Dungeons and Dragons. Anyone who played a pen-n-paper RPG would know.

    I guess its your concept of leveling.

    Since I am used to leveling at a slow rate in a PnP setting, I think most of the games you claim "pure grinders" are not that bad for me.

    *** In DDO, ranks = MMORPG levels. So technically your character can max out at Lvl(ranks) 60 in MMORPG standards. But in DDO that is lvl 12.

    MMOs = Grind. Then by your idea of Grind = Sucks, then All MMOs = Suckers, especially the idiotic bashers.

    LMAO, smarter? Are you sure about that?

    From what I see as an opinion, is just plain hate for something your quite ignorant about.

    By your statement, you do not like any game that was created based on MMORPG korean designs, ideas, and features (that would consist of 90% of all MMORPGs, to date). Also, by your statement, you show your quite new the the realm of MMORPG. If you despise grinding, then you do not play MMORPG. Which would mean, your in the wrong topic to begin with.

    The lack of intelligence is what I see within your post.

    I do believe he doesn't even like mmorpgs... I for one am getting addicted to korean games. A lot of the most popular games are made by koreans. For example, Ragnarok Online. Next time, if you think you're much smarter then all of us, how about be smart enough to put up more of a fight by giving more reasons. Grind is only 1 and generally most mmorpgs have it. It also seems you are directing hate towards this forum.

    But anyways, EVERYONE CALM DOWN. This is an opinion we are talking about here. BTW, yay for asians!! (I'm asian but not korean)

    Much smarter than I'll ever be? I would like to see that. Well, seeing as you won't be posting on this forum again, no use to flame you ^_^

    @gitawego
    You are so damn wrong. Just try a few good ones before stereotyping

    @Cyber7chink

    yeah, agree with you

    @Lasthero

    I also think he is just jealous because he doesn't understand Korean.

    @AngelTalse ( If you read this ^^)

    I can't believe this guy. Hey dude, I wanna clear this out. Korean MMO's do not have the same genres. how many MMO's have you played? It seems you don't play that much. If you can't grind a bit then don't play at all. it's not the games that sux, you sux at playing it. you are not welcome here. You deserve to die. Let's kill him guys. "Ready the OnRPG cannons!!!"

    wow is grinding game, no level grind but strong item grind T1..T2...T4 ...

    grind is not so bad at all, just think a minute about:

    People can even play together when someone plays only 2 days a week and his friend full week. Cause Levelgrind the difference in level is not huge. It slows up Powergamer and brings teams together.

    The sense of gaming is FUN and Teaming, isn't it? Stupid is, who is playing Levelgrind hour for hour - and not just relax. Xp is just for feeling u have done something useful . But the friendships are important.

    I see a change, that games coming more in arcade style - are easier to play. For example Asheron's Call or Anarchy Online classic was hard to start in game.

    What I really miss by a lot mmorg's?
    More Charakters, different faces, more different classes. Its scary me to meet myself alltime ingame .

    I personally see Korean MMOs sterotyped as this:
    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------
    *They are almost always point and click minus a few exceptions.

    *While all MMORPGS and RPGs in general have a level grind, Korean MMORPGs level grind is often unreasonably realistic. Taking hours to earn a few percent of a level.

    *NPC/Mobs are re-colored and reused perhaps even more so than American MMORPGs/RPGs. This first started with Final Fantasy 1 in Japan if you want to take it back that far in RPG history.

    *Most Korean MMORPGs are point and click with few relying on the keyboard for movement. This often makes combat or getting around in general fairly annoying due to the limited way of movement, it's like trying to control a RC car with one hand.

    *Almost all Korean MMORPGs artstyle is almost always focused around anime. Making the games seem more generic than they should be. However, they spend a lot of time in this area making great looking art and graphics even if it's a similar style to other MMORPGs from Korea.

    I was wondering that as well. If this person was as intelligent, as they say they are, they would have known about genres, and the definition of what genre means.

    Eh, more proof of his failure to educate.......
