id like to see the Unreal 3 engine on the WII on uber low detail that would be funny. Why even bother putting it on the WII at all. it cannot handle it, The games would not be played the way they where meant to. its like playing Oldblivion with a 5200.

If I remember correctly, the engine only determines the way the game is played, not the quality of it's graphics (which Wii graphics are still acceptable) =/

nooo... the engine is the layout of how the game is programed. The Wii can't handle the amount of detail they placed in Unreal 3.0... thats why they are thinking of using and older version.

Detail...As in interacting with the environment? If that's the case it could be modified especially for the Wii. Just like Square is "supposedly" modifying that same engine for some other RPGs in progress..."Supposedly". I need to digg for the source again.

Well it to much code for the Wii to handle and operate functionally at the same time.

Square created their own "White Engine" which makes games look like the final fantasy cinamatic movies.. in other words the PS3 is going to have a game that plays like your watching the advent child movie. Its crazy.

They are also inagrating the Unreal Engine into their more action Final Fantasy game- Final Fantasy Versus.

I cant wait to buy all of them.

Awesome news. I just want a Wii even more now. But I had to go and spend my moneyz on a new Video iPod, 2 1GB Ram chips and a new video card. Curse you Apple, whoever made my RAM chip and nVidia!
