It's the exact same thing... only bigger with a different picture.

well i didnt know how to work them till now...... so i decide am not restarting so i went and finish it that way.

Filters are used to enhance the sig, not create a background.

That's not entirely true. Most, if not all of my sigs have backgrounds made out of filters.

Feel free to use whatever you want to create a signature. There are limitless possibilities of what can result.
