The Marines are ground combat and amphibious assault specilists, as well as the most often used world-wide police force. The Airforce are technical specialists in, you guessed it, air power. In the airforce you can have opportunities to lbecome a pilot, astronaut, air controller, and a hundred other such jobs. It is often considered the "easiest" of the services because they focus more on intellectual strength then physical.
It all really depends on what you want to be.
