my interpretation of saw 4 is the guy in saw 3 trying to save his child that jigsaw hid somewhere after the guy killed him, and amanda died , thing i cant yet figure out is the next jigsaw

Snap point well taken. But we can assume that the kid is dead cause the dad is stuck in the room with the dead bodies at the end of the movie.
Some of the scenes in that movie were screwy thou. Like the CHEST RIPPER. Ahhh after see that scene ill think twice about prying a girls boobs apart...

Either that, or a bigger twist he is't the real Jigsaw. For all we know, he could have been manipulated like all the rest.
