First and foremost, this is not a debate where you include your religious beliefs because they are not the point of this topic. Also whether or not you believe in a religion does not matter and do not use anything like that because it has nothing to do with this topic.
I usually watch the history channel, and they always talk about multiple cultures. One that keeps coming back up is the famous Greeks. Now we have found out that back over 1500-2200 years ago they where able to Iron Cast, heat large baths, heat floors. Also actually had running toilets that would wash the waste out. They had the aqua ducks which where famous for being the first water pipe pretty much.
Now here is the point of argument. It would seem that after Christianity started to spread, Technology fell. The Romans where defeated and all of its technology defeated. Now religion created large wars and only in the last 300-400 years have we gotten back all of which we lost from the Romans. (Except for working toilets which took a lot longer) Now my question is a 2 parter. (1) Do you agree? (2) Do you think if Christianity had never been created that our current technology would be greater than it already is?
