    Default MMORPG Engine

I'm searching a good MMORPG Engine...
Not an engine like Playerworlds were you need to change the IP Adress before you can play...

    2D or 3D, doesn't matters...

You do know there's a big resources list at the top of this section right?...

Multiverse (I believe it's still in beta, but you can still download the software.)
    http://www.multiverse.net/index.jsp?cid=0&scid=0

essentially, the software is free if you don't charge your players; otherwise, they take a very (in I men very) small cut of the profit. The Firefly MMO will be made on this engine.

There's also Realcrafter. $50 for the individual indie kit; however, I have heard a lot of bad things about this.

These are both 3d, but I'd sudgest going with MultiVerse. I have it on my machine now to play around with it, and so far it's possibilities are limitless.

    Post Torque

I would recommend using Torque, not only will you have access to full source code to produce your own tools, but it has already been proven to handle mmo games and has visual and code based editing solutions along with a huge community of resources.

Those are the good ones. If you're looking for an easy engine to create an MMO, it doesn't exist. Maybe you could make one! 2
