It's just amazimg how few of us here practice correct grammar on the internet, or even over these boards. And almost all of us use the terms 'ur', 'u', 'lol', 'rofl', and any other words or shortcuts through that kind of stuff.
Also, the use of numbers to take the place of a few letters? I mean, come on, the number annoys me, and it's just a few extra letters to type, so don't be lazy, and type the damn three extra letters. I mean, I see this one everywhere, like..
1) 'Lozl n00b ill ownz u 4ever'
2) 'im off l8r h0mies'
3) 'lol ur yung my cuz turnz 7teen diz week'
This has to be one of the worst, if not the worst impetiment of the english language I have ever seen.
What about this one? Capitalizing both segments of compound words, that's just stupid. What good does it do? Was your first grade teacher drunk when he/she taught you what compound words were and how to correctly apply them in sentences?
Some examples of this plague are...
1) 'im SixTeen yrs old' (This one leads onto the next point)
2) 'lozl SkateBoarderz sck'
Yeah, isn't that annoying you? Of course it is, those are so blatant, it's kind of funny.
This one isn't exactly required to be correct, but it's best if you don't apply it. Spell out your numbers, I see the point in saying 'well yeah i was born in 1989', and I won't hold it against you, it's no fun typing out 'nineteen eighty-nine', but do you know how long it took me to type that? It only took me about three seconds, so it's not exactly a big deal.
An example of this one...
1) '4 + 4 is 8' (Representing 'four plus four is eight')
How about using acronyms in the place of expressions? Things like 'lol', 'rofl', 'lmfao', and my personal favorite, 'stfu.' How hard is it to spell out 'haha', in substitution to 'I'm rolling on the floor laughing', 'I'm laughing my ass off', or 'I'm laughing out loud', which I know all sound awkward spoken, even try it.
I see the logic in 'stfu', as it saves typing time in heated arguments, especially in games like Counter-Strike, where typing puts you at a risk, but come on, it's not that hard to type out 'shut the **** up'.
Some useless ones I see alot are...
1) 'IRL'
2) 'ASL'
3) 'NMU'
4) 'YYU' (Used on messengers sometimes for 'yo, are you there')
Last, but not least, correct application of commas.
I hate when people use commas where they don't belong, it just rocks me down to the core to see how people are blatantly disregarding easy grammatical rules. It's an easy rule, just ask a teacher or someone somewhat intelligent about it.
Prime suspects for this category...
1) 'lets go, to a party'
2) 'come, on'
Guys, just learn some grammar, I know there were alot I left out, like suffixes and whatnot (you get hacked, not [b]hack[b]!) But still, for the sake of my sanity, and yours, learn and apply grammar.

Acronyms are fine for me but "1337" speak is horrible.
