I decided it was not better than lineage 2 for me so i stuck with Lineage2. I got bored at level 30 turned into a afk party grind. you would make partys then huddle in one spot and just afk it was great.

It's a very unique, polished korean MMO (something you honestly can't say about 95% of them) plus it somehow runs well on my PC at higher detail settings. The only thing it lacks is mid to end-game content. Something to look forward to which is why most people lose interest.

    My opinion is no! Why?
Because everybody looks exactly the same in this game!
I really hate game without character customization!
Why don't they include some different skins and whatever? Too lazy?!

You obviously haven't played long enough (especially considering you said that you only got to level 3 in the game). If you did, you'd learn that you can also buy additional items, like hats or shoes, that armors change at different levels, that you can also buy costumes at higher levels, and that you can unlock different characters. With all that, how much more customizing would you need? After a while it would go way past having the necessary amount of customizing, and right into having an excessive amount.

Anyway, yes, it's a good play. But after a while, you'll start to notice the fun decreasing, due to:

    • Shitty, lack-luster community
    • Lack of (doable) quests (because it's in Beta)

Yeah, pretty much... its weird seeing 3 people and knowing its only one, getting KS'd and KSing all the time.. 1 hit kills.. everything is just messed.

The main problems of GE in my opinion in no particular order:

    1. Paying 500 to 2000 vis per zonewide and server wide message is drop dead ******ed. Yeah it limits spam but because everyone's tight on the money, it also creates a ton of dead air. It really should be zonewide chatting is free but server wide messages cost money.

    2. Some stances/weapons absolutely suck. One handed pistol stances are crappy, even maxed out. One handed pistol stance should of been given to the scout just to give them some range power for the hell of it since the only reason fighters/musketeers use freestyle is to level it for dual wield pistol stance.

    3. Some areas have WAY too many mobs in them. The moment you kill them all you're surrounded again. It's a pain if you're trying to trek across a zone only to have to stop every 2 seconds to kill something.

    4. Lack of named/special bosses. Nuff said. I like to see special named boss mobs pop up more often and not just in quests. Only ones I've seen during my trek to level 36 are Hill Giants and a few in quests. Needs to be way more. Preferably they need to drop special items, weapons, and armor not found in shops too.

    5. Crafting. GE needs it. With 3 characters, it'd rock to have 3 mastered professions and it adds deeper substance.

    6. Quests. GE has them spread out too thinly and there's just plain ol' not enough of them to go around period. Questing takes your mind off of the grind and also opens up to more rewards.

    7. There's some character control issues where sometimes you tell them to patrol one small area but they run off in different directions after different stuff. There's also sometimes where the scout seems to go on strike and stop healing with a full mana bar. That needs to get fixed.

    8. Here's the biggest problem in my opinion and one that a lot of griefers are taking advantage of. Auto-dueling. If you duel someone, after about 30 seconds, if they do not respond then it's auto-accepted. I've seen tons of griefers using this to spam people with duels, look for AFKers, you can knock people out of shop mode with it, and basically be pricks and get free PvP wins. While I'm not a fan of AFK leveling, Auto-dueling is going to be a major issue if it isn't fixed.

there is lots of bosses, there's ment to be 3 bosses in the 1st nub dungeon, a flame hound and troll or orge, then a super orge with AoE stun and knockback lol.

    there is crafting.

wait till higher versions of the game there's more quests.

yeah i hate that but i think its just lag.

it's fixed on higher GE versions i think....it's suppose to auto cancel after 30sec.

here short and sweet so that it'll spare u from wasting time:
GE was really cool looking not to mention character voices!!!!
    Seemed a bit too easy
    quite fun at mid game
    great new concept
    some lag
    large maps with no people
Good for teh begginers in mmo
i recomend it to a certain extent cus if ur hardcore...u def wont like this game too much

Honestly, do you think I'm like him?

I dont know if you have already but, seeing as GE is in closed beta maybe you should make you suggestions and criticisms to the dev's of the game and have something done about it? isn't that partly why beta's exist? i don't know.. just a thought
I havent played the game yet either, but reading this I guess i'll wait until OB so they can balance the game out a bit more

This muz be the 100th thread about GE being worth playing. If you got a freaking closed beta account, just download the game and try it. If you find the download to be too slow, just wait for OB. You only know your own opinion of the game if you try it.
