@OP: I really liked EQ pre luclin, I think once all the expansions started coming out, it sorta ruined the game and kinda warped it a bit, people stopped selling at the tunnel in EC(East Commonlands(don't ask me how I still remember that after like 5 or 6+ years)) just altered the game from what it used to be. That's where the "bazaar" was. It was alright after Luclin but I quit because it got kinda boring. (Though I played it for a year or so)
All in all, it was my first mmorpg and it is probably my fav because of that.
I guess I probably read out of context, do you play classic eq?

Because old graphics have a unique style, and brings back awesome memories. The same reason I prefer BG2 over NWN2. (Well, maybe it's more of a preference for 2.0, and not 3.5) Older games also have their own flavor. Sometimes, one gets bored with all those new flashy graphics and cool gimmicks, and wants to go back to what's old and what works.
Starcraft will only be outdated when Starcraft 2 comes out... If ever.me too, i like outdated graphics games like starcraft and counter-strike

EQ Classic
yea i played it and i still play EQ classic on the best private server they even rank over soe's servers i remember theyve been taken to court and argued that when we buy the client the software is ours the servers and server source we do not own as long as we do not alter then contents of the game we can do what ever we want since we made our own source btw u should try this its not illegal dont ban me u can look up on the internet where they went to court and won the site is www.shardsofdalaya.com btw i guess i like they game because it had like several diff low lvl graphics weapons but didnt start out with uber graphics i guess i just like the variety in the weapon graphics
