Well I just chnaged my XP to look exactly like Vista with the gadgets and everthing and I wanted to take a picture or screenshot anyone know how and can anyone suggest some cool gadgets?

EDIT:VTP doesnt support gadgets (downloadable ones at least)

What did you use? I did that once. I used StyleXP for the theme + icons.

to take screenshot:
1. Press Prt Scr(next to F12)
2. Find your image editor of choice(MS paint works)
3. Paste(Ctrl+V)
4. Save as jpg(thats important, make sure it's jpg or some other small file format. MSPaint saves as bmp by default and it's a HUGE file size)

i used VTP (vista transformation pack) it actually changed your system files to vista and thanks fabian

Im really running on XP but using Vista system files still runs the like XP only looks different

no nobody gets it its actually changes my system files to look like vista

I sooo thought that and got all scared but its worth it and I recomend it but when you transform it read everything! and I mean EVERYTHING!!

i had VTP and it just changes everthing to "look" like vista everything else stays the same.


and its stable from what i have seen.
i havent put it on my new computer yet

well go to program files and click vista sidebar then click sidebar and make a desktop icon or something for it so you dont have to do that again if it goes away but you cant download any new gadgets

Sweet. Does it change the start up screen at all? I ask this because my dad is the type of person who thinks anything installed that he didn't has a virus or will severely screw the computer up.

it does have a vista log in screen and dont worry man my dad is the same way lol

I belive you can uninstall with no problem but I'm not sure

well, i installed VTP 6.0 but how do i get all those sidebars out?

the side bars are a different download or it comes with it

you could prbally download another theme for it if you use the amazing google!! (I wasnt being sarcastic google is really really amazing!)

I'm actually having trouble installing. It says "This dialog will let you customize general system UI for Windows Vista look"

what does checking the boxes next to everything do?

check all of them for all the features of vista (visuals)
