Man you guys are lit..eratur..ely challenged. Can't beleive no one mentioned the short stroy "The Veldt". It's about how a family buys a smart house thingy that does pretty much everything for them, and it also has a virtual reality room that displays any environment that you can think up. Eventually the parents lose control of their kids since the parents are never around to teach the kids anything. In the end the parents realise that the house was a mistake and try to shut it down, but their kids imagine up an african scene in the veldt (the virtual reality room) and stuff their parents in there with the lions
Wouldn't wanna die from getting eating by virtual reality lions, so I'd stay away from the smart house if I ever won one D=
