Vid Card Question

Hey I have a question about a recent computer i ordered. Now Im not a computer buff or anything so I dont know that much about computers. I wanted to know if the NVIDIA GeForce 6150 LE 256Mb is good and what it can run like mabey Fear, Halo , Doom etc. I searched the internet forever and couldnt find even the resolutions for it...well thanks a bunch to whoever responds.

very low end card wont be able to run fear for its life probably melt the card lol halo might doom ..probably not

run them all at low and build upwards if it functions well in med setting keep it there. I really dont think you will ever go high settings with that card.

256 can play the games at minimal settings, which is not that fun compared to the max settings. Gamers should get a 512mb gfx card or double 256 gfx cards ~ Just my opinion~

Even my laptop now has a 512mb gfx card~ lol

DoubleDouble am i to late? a GeForce 6150 LE is total trash It is a intergraded onboard card i assume, correct? (thats the only version i know of lol) you wont be able to play any modern game in any modern detail.

you could play halo in all its last gen glory. but newer games like fear id be surprised if you got anything more than 30 fps on the lowest settings. and like 10 in firefights aether way you wont like it much, shoot for something higher and if your not getting a lap top a 7600gs or GT pci-e is cheap with decent performance.

Yes, quite a bit to. but don't expect to be playing oblivion or anything lol.
maybe with oldblivion mod you would get like 15 fps with everything on "ass" detail i guess its a possibility.

Like i said tho budget cards....also there are also software mods and stuff so yeah.
Plus since AMD recently got the company they prolly will fix that....
ATI is making a 2k series to support DX10.
ALSO no they do not support DX10 only the 8 series does which cost what 500 bucks?????
