    Default f@#$ing Handhelds!

Well, a while back, I dropped my PSP while playing GTA. It fell on the carpet and may have bumped my chair. I figure, no biggie. I pick it up and it's turned off. Kinda pissed that I'll lose all my data, but still no problem. So I turned it on to find a huge spiderweb crack branching out from the center of my screen. What.. the... ****? My mom didn't buy the warantee on it and I had a shitload of problems sending it to repair services after my dad broke it more (I bought a new screen and we tried to put it in: broke the clasps off the motherboard in the process). That was last year.
So recently I start saving to buy a new PSP screen. I have a DS Phat/Original and a flashcart for homebrew so it's all good. I had my DS in my backpack for about 4 days and hadn't touched it. Yesterday took it out to play it, the bottom screen has a crack running down the center with grey dead pixels surrounding it. It still works and displays picture, but it's highly distracting. Now I have to buy a DS Lite. >.> I found out it happened because an old DS cartridge I had in the bag with the DS got inbetween the space between the top and bottom screen when it was closed, and I guess the pressure caused the crack. Either that or my backpack being in the cold weather.

On to my point: who here has broken their screens for any handheld due to carelessness (PSP, GBA, iPod, cellphone, etc.)? I know the PSP has a lot of victims due to its fragility. The DS is more hardy. You have to be a real idiot to damage that one.

NO dmg at all to any of the hand helds we have in my household.

2 PSP- 1 for my oldest (11) and one for me
    3 Nintendo DS- 1 for each of my children (11, 9, 7)
1 SP- it was purchased before DS was out. Its now my wife's little toy.

    lol. I remember my SP...

Anyway. Thats the only bad thing with portable gaming. It breaks easily. I dropped my PSP and it has a little darkened pixels at the top but its not very noticeable. If it ends up breaking I'll just buy the portable x box thing if it ever comes out. Playing Halo 3 portable!

I had my fun destroying my 8 years old computer a few months ago. You have no idea how fun it was to smash a computer to bits.
