It's most def not bad dude...although I don't know if it showcases how good you are...because the people who see it aren't gonna be in this forum....the only thing I suggest is throw some more pizzaz in there....but it isn't required....it's good either way...

oh to solve that problem i post alot of my stuff on myspace where almost everyone at school goes.
and i bring some prints of my stuff and pass it around.
so far i got 3 orders, but i have only been doin this for 2 weeks now.

Good Job when you get farther down Its kind of hard to read some of the text.

The text lacks depth. It looks like a 2D flat text style, over a 3D-looking background with depth. Work on the text and it will be good. Also, the brush (?) you use in the background is boring.

i added a drop shawdow to give it that depth, but i guess its not workin.
oh and i dont want the flyer too flashy, just want it focused on the text

and I think invitations , business cards etc. sounds better then AND etc.

It looks like a Microsoft publisher job O.o
The game just looks randomly placed there, and the orange just doesn't fit.
The font just makes it amatur dude.
You can do alot better.

Doesn't look bad, but I'ld maybe lower the photo & orange down closer to the bottom right corner. That would leave more rome to add some more pizzaz or strengthen the text.

Also floating text on over a paper background? It might look cool if the text was crinkled with the paper.
