Very Yes, you get to level 2 in about 2 kills. Also the fun combat kinda negates the grind.

however it slows down in the higher levels... at first yeah you could get to lvl 40 in like 4 hours if you knew what you were doing.... then it begins to slow down. The real cute thing is RYL 2 has a MASSIVE grind at the end even if your 95 for gear so you can actually compete in pvp... could be weeks or months of farming just so you can pvp good its completely gear based just about.

yep but in ryl2 they know how to keep u interested since this game has a wide variety of armors and not like in most cheapass games like flyff a stupid same lookin armor for every fifth level lol and u can hit more enemies in one hit...so its more action like. but to come to the topic i can suggest u to play DarkEden lol

Run it on the lowest setting with everything as low as possible and turn effects off you don't really need, if that don't help your graphics card is not good enough to really handle the game

Why do people request games that have no grind? If there was a game with NO grind AT ALL on ANY level they you would be super high level WOOT...Wait....so would the other 99.9 % of the game so....a game without grind....If there was a game without grind alot of people would play it and make it to max level in 2 days and then what?get bored and quit? exactly...

I think what he's trying to say is "If there was a game without grind there would not be any levels" just a guess though.

well the problem is not really the grind...but in all free mmorpg u dont have that much quests for u. cuz quests keep u busy by solving them. just clickin to kill monsters and gettin nothin except a higher level isnt that exciting. i think the key is the balance between grinding and quests.

Shadowbane is based around people... People build the cities and you destroy them in Guild vs Guild

Guild Wars is probably your best bet. A ton of quests and not alot of grind.

(By the way, this belongs in MMORPG Request.)

Not sure what you meant by this. I imagine that yeah, many free mmorpgs don't have many quests (heck, mine only has three at this point), but I would imagine that free mmorpgs would have the exact same ability to have many quests as the paid ones do.

Was it a statement based on experience, or something else? I mean, I guess I can see that free mmorpgs (which operate on a tighter budget) don't really have the manpower to create lots of in depth quests.

I have to admit though, I do like the grind (If that's the term for walking around, beating on stuff, and leveling up), to a certain extent.
