Anyone have a hobby for building Gundam models? I just bought another model kit yesterday and wonder if anyone build these models.

Heres a few pics I found.

None of the gundam models require any painting whatsoever, but if want to make yours look good you can use gundam paint and markers to make it look ever better. Gundam models are not hard to build, they come with easy to follow picture instructions and the difficulty varies on the kit grade. I believe theres Scale 1/144 for noobs like me usually takes 30min to an hour, scale 1/00 , Master Grade for intermediate, and Perfect Grade ( For the pros). The higher the grade the more detail the model is, the bigger the size as well as time needed to build the model and the price .

I have 1 master grade and 1 scale 1/144 and its missing a few limbs because my mom was careless with the vacuum cleaner. And btw if you gonna buy these kits NEVER buy from toys r us, their over price, easy to build and looks like shit even thought its produced by Bandai.

This is a master grade model Gundam GP02a which i bought for 30 bucks( real bargain) in chinatown. Took me a week to build but worth the effort.

This is the scale 1/44 Zaku2 bought for like 10 bucks a few years ago. Took my like an hour to build it.

I have all the custom models from Gundam Wing, and the freedom gundam (the 2nd picture in the 1st post)

I have yet to really start on the custom ones. I want to put all my effort into them and make em look good, but I need to buy the right paint and the markers. I have 3 1/144 scales, and 1/100 built at the moment. Only one of them turned out descent and it was the one I painted. My brushing skills need work though.

I have a decent collection of Zoid (original from 1980's and 90's), Gundam (various scales of difficulty), Robotech ( germen version and japanese version), and many PVC models.

So far my favorite are the Zoids and the Euro Robotech models.

Out of all of them, my favorite 2 are the Brontosaurus Zoid ( 18" tall and almost 2 feet long, from 1990) and the Commando mech from Euro Robotech (think a A1 tank on 4 huge legs).

I also do Warhammer 40k miniatures and scenery. Models are a pastime, when everything else bores me.

Oh yeah, I also have a nice 3 foot PVC model of Unicron.

LOL, why? For you to rate them? No thanks. It matters not if you beleive me, its my personal collection of childhood dreams. During the time when I had no responsibilities or troubles. I loved Germany...... Besieds, the title doesnt say "post your gundam model pics!"..... so its moot.

Try the next person who cares......

LOL, yes the dice can be the downfall of a very experienced vet.

I liked things that mod dice rolls. Scarabs can attach to anything. Each scarab hinders that target with a -1 on the atk and def dice roll. Along with their huge range of movement and you got yourself a metal eating pest!

Add long range of the Detroyer hover bikes and you got shrapnel everywhere.

As of lately, Zoid models have been a bit too easy. I remember when you got 250+ parts to a deluxe kit. At the present, Gundam models are much better than the Zoid models.
