It will be nerdy if you can't play it, but if you can pull off crazy 'licks and riffs' on it then no, it definately won't be nerdy, also performance is not just technical ability, its entertaining your audience, so as long as you keep people entertained, you won't be nerdy.

I actually wouldn't find it nerdy. All the videos did produce a nice tune. My favorite was the 3rd.

a roland ax 7 in the UK to actuly hear stuff as well comin out of it will cost about

600 to 1000 pound and thats for the decent ish sounds ..

i guess its really for pro's or the rich kids

i gather u can plug into samplers where u get CD with instruments on to load up ..or the keyboards apprently
i wouldnt mind getting one since i do music GSCE and i just seems like a easy way to create cool music

but getting a roland ax1 or ax 7 in UK is hard ..ebay dont have em
