It could be your boot options, enter the BIOS and make sure your hard drive is set as a boot device. It could be that the computer is trying to boot from a CD/DVD drive, when there is no boot record there.

If that is not the problem, enter safe mode by hitting the F8 key repetedely as soon as you power on the PC and select it from the menu. If it boots, your PC isn't completely "dead".

He can see a flashing underscore, I'm suggesting that this comes after the POST and BIOS screen.

if it doestn work do this.

press F8 -> safe mode with networking -> press admin -> press no -> and u can system recover it , but some of the files u save might be deleted.

if that still doesnt work , call a computer expert.(cyber7chink )
