Another question: if the trend continues in every country until, eventually, the male gender is wiped out, what will happen to the females?

Its Not like it will happen over night less and less males will be born leading to less females, they would both die out around the same time.

This made me think of that one movie "Children of men" takes place in 2030ish
where no baby's have been born in 18 years, good movie watch it.
