    I have to go to school in a minute so if you can give me a quiz on computer tech or give me a link on computer tech so I can take it so i can see what I'm missing a need to learn for personal reasons.

    well i looked it up on wiki and it said its used in more modern Windows OS's like "XP" and vista is that correct?

    It can mean input/output
    Its the universal symbol for Off/On
    Its used in schematics related to electronic devices as Open/Closed
