    Default American MMORPGs

I'm just asking, but does anyone know any American-made MMORPGs at all?
Not that I don't like Korean games, its just all MMORPGs I've played were Korean.

    Free:
    Dungeon Runners
    Shadowbane
    Rubies of Eventide (?)
    Anarchy Online (European)

    Not Free:
    WoW
    GW
    Everquest 1/2
    Asheron's Call
    Auto Assault
    City of Heroes/Villains
    Dark Age of Camelot
    Dungeons & Dragons Online
    PlanetSide (not really a RPG)
    Star Wars Galaxies
    The Matrix Online
    Ultima Online
    Vanguard: Saga of Heroes
    Lord of the Rings Online

Some of those suck, some of them may be European, but it's basically the same thing.

GW was published by NCsoft, but developed by Arenanet, I think they're american.

Edit : yup, they're based in seattle.

    Yes it is.

And to the "American Army" thing. It's America's Army. And like said before, sponsored by the pentagon and developed by americans.

You are all wrong! Guild Wars was made by the Carebears and published by Hello Kitty.

Dungeon Runners is also published by NCSoft, but it's developed by some other US developer who I forget the name of.

WoW is Blizzard, they are located in California.

So ya, you are completely wrong and look like an ass now. Would you like to try again?
They're not just the publisher, but also the owners of A-Net. So yes, they developed GW.

Dungeon Runners was developed by NCSoft. Only the name was borrowed from another company. Here is the info about that:
NCsoft would like to acknowledge MudMagic.com for their willingness and consent in allowing NCsoft to use the mark Dungeon Runners. “Dungeon Runners” has been used by MudMagic.com as the name of a text computer game since 1998. It can be found at http://www.mudmagic.com/.
Its at the bottom of the Dungeon Runners' main site.

You really need to stop talking.

Even if its a subsidiary, GW is still owned by NCSoft. Not just published. Dungeons Runners is also developed by them. Only thing you were correct about was the CoH/V games. You can tell who the developers and publishers are by just looking at the bottom of any game's website. Its that simple.

Now hush! Put forthought into what you post. Being arrogant means you will leave room for errors. You lack the intelligance to have the right to post your previous statement. Almost as intelligent as an.......well, an euqine domesticated for hard labor.......

Edit: For those of you who do not know. NCSoft was originated and main HQ is in S. Korea. They also have developing/publishing offices in Austin Texas. The name of the two offices is NC Austin and NC interactive. So techinically, anything developed by these 2 office branches would mean it is American made. They still have to answer or get the "green light" for any development from HQ.

That doesn't change the fact that the game was developed by ArenaNet, who are American (ex-Blizzard employees). NCSoft has an American branch, as I already said, and they did not develop or work in GW in anyway. GW was in production before ArenaNet was even bought by NCSoft. Just because a publisher owns a developer, does not mean the games they make are made by the publisher. Just look at Blizzard, they are owned by Vivendi, but nobody is going to say Vivendi made WoW.
