no i mean, idk how to explain it but pretend u have something in front of you, what is the lowest speed it can go to make it look like it was never there. like you never saw it go left or right, it just disappeared from your sight
lightspeed?
Reputation: 10Im just spitballin here, but my science teacher says the hands r quicker than the eye. Which means u cant always trust whats in front of ur eyes, and if u do it fast with your hands then it would create an illusion. Most ppl do that in card tricks, although its not the speed of light, but u'll get it. I doubt anything that mankind has made can even go that fast.

its less than the speed of light i know that for sure. im talkin about the human eye here, not some super scientific thingy.
Reputation: 71Wait, if the electrons are magnetically ripped from their bond, then wouldn't light do the same when traveling the speed of light? So your saying that every light source is causing electrons to be de-bonded and yet this doesn't affect the atomic balance in things such as our skin. Ok, i'm sorry but explain that again...
I thought we went the speed of light. That's right.. they made a documentary about it.. I think it's called Star Trek or something.
Not sure if you're being sarcastic or not, but I'll correct it anyway.
It wouldn't be a body part that falls off.
Basically imagine your body made out of sand, sand so fine that it's impossible to see the grains with the human eye.
Now imagine a strong wind blowing you away.
Thats basically what happens to mass at such velocities.
