Default Just picked up Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion not to long ago.

Yeah, I bought it about 4 hours ago, and i'd have to say, for an FPS head, this game is actually pretty good. Got it for PS3. Its a very open-ended game, with endless possibilites. Before I picked it up, I always thought it was one of those super nerdy, complicated RPGs but, I actually like it. Looks and plays great. With all the side things available to do, I do hope I still have the time to beat it. I've been hooked on it.

    Your opinions on this game?

    Any tips for me?

    Don't break it?
Mine broke, been in mourning ever since.

What class type are you doing? Melee, Magic, stealth?

In my opinion magic is the best, melee gets pretty boring after a while and stealth is a pretty fun option.
And if the cloud bursts, thunder in your ear.

You shout and no one seems to hear.

The Pc version is better for one reason... Mods. There is this mod called Deadly Reflexes which adds tons of melee moves and supposidly makes melee combat much more fun. It adds shield bash, flips, and even decapitation.

I have tons of mods and I love my Oblivion game. I am also a part of a mod project thats been going for about a year now. The aim of the project is to re-build Kvatch and add in a whole bunch of new quests and allow the player to become the count of the city, or part of te Kvatch Legion. If you want to learn more you can go to:

http://kvatch.net (the site was designed by me )

Overall Oblivion is a great game, sad part was it was built for te 360 this time around and pretty much ported to the PC. The interface is clunky, and for a PC game it runs slightly sluggish in my opinion. For consoles its great though

You don't waist your time:P.It's a great game, but very deep, wich can be a good and a bad thing.Lots of races, classes, and guilds as well.I personally spendt half an hour in the character creation step.I joined the knights of the nine, but got bored of searcging for the pieces,so I made an assasin, and now the gameplay's turning into a hitman-like game(wich is a good ting, since I played alot to the last hitman),lots of weapons, and stuff to do,kinda hard to figure out at first, though, yet I spent my day on it today..The only tip I can give you is to join the fighters guild(heard it's more easy).

I have joined the Fighters Guild. I just gotta go to those two guys and get contracts.

    I am a warrior, BTW.

Even if it does, i wouldn't recommend getting it until the next patch is out. There has been an error with SI where items have been disappering, and that should only happen after you've been through Oblivion for 1000 hours in one file.

Releasing Shivering Isles only a month after Oblivion would be pretty usless, this game is so huge that there's still plenty of stuff to do,though it would be nice to see it in 3-6 months.

If you have Linux on the PS3 look up the oblivion mod that lets you use a KB/M on the PS3(Saw it around qj.net, I'll try and look it up). I'd also like to suggest that you stay at a good pace this way, you get a good playtime out of it and, you'll finish in time for the Shivering Isles give or take.
    Forgot to add this.

Basically makes it so corpses will turn into skeletons or zombies. Theres a percentage chance of this happening but you should be able to change it so all corpses do it. It's quiet interesting to a see a zombie cockfight. They are all hostile towards each other

Haha thats mad! Although i'll just use the Staff of Worms you get of Mannimarco and not give it to the mages guild. Thats pretty much a necromancy staff, and its unique too and also, you can use it on any character that has been killed. Including bandits and stuff.
