Default I've noticed something in alotta games..

    There aren't really children characters.
Such as Oblivion and Grand Theft Auto.
All you see is people from like age 20+.
I mean, wtf? Has the reproduction stage in life of these games just came to a hault?
Nobody is popping babies no more?

Yeah, there could be simple reasons for children not being in games..like not being able to find young voice actors.. or something of the sort.

    Your opinion?

Probably because some crazy parents would get mad at seeing children dying.

    Oh well...

well if it isnt already inhumane to kill people of the older age, why would children make a difference?

And lmao, to the yellow haired boy in Oblivion.

    Deimos.

    Your location.

Is that from the song "I Don't Remember" by Peter Gabriel?

Strange is your language and I have no decoder,
Why don't you make your intentions clear.

Anyway, I thought the lack of children in games would be pretty obvious. San Andreas for example. The Hot Coffee mod, and textures of children in the game.

    Equals a very disturbing mod.

if a child is playing a game with children in it and the child charracter is killing people the child player will think its ok to do that in real life since the child charracter is doing it in the game.

It's because they are Sandbox games. with children in the game, and following the game's playing rules, you would be able to do to those children what ever you can to the adults.

Yea, they arn't real but at the same time is your game play really effected that much by the lack of children?

I have a theory going that most console rpg protagonists are 17 years old which is still a kid (Examples: chrono cross tales of symphonia skies of arcadia). w/e theres lots of kids npcs in console rpgs

It dosen't really effect my gameplay. I'd just expect games like Oblivion to have some kids running around playing in some of the towns and the Imperial City.

Well thats something we can agree on. But if i recall, there were a few games with kids and all that. Its pretty simple too: The sims. Sure there arent any guns or violence, but the first sims game for the ps2 had kids in it.

Hmmmmm, come to think of it, doesnt Maple Story's characters kinda look like kids?

Well, at first I thought you meant kids at other games, like, RPG games or adventure games, but when you said GTA, it changes a lot because killing a kid isn't the same as killing an adult, its considered more 'dramatic' because the person you are killing is younger.
