My school also required it. I had to do 8 hours as part of my senior project. I just went over to this local anit-lab place (cause my city has the Lawrence Livermore Lab, go ahead and look it up... they have a shit load of plutonium and a laser that can create small nuclear explostions... its crazy)
Anyways, all I did there was print out fliers, address envelopes, and fax some shit. IT was easy.

Does your community services include regular volunteer work. Thank god mine does. Try to find something fun. I've been volunteering at a local science center doing the camp-ins at night since I was 12. There fun and I've accumulated over 800 hours. Its all about the future.

Exactly. Its when a bunch of the little boy scouts and girl scouts come in and do special activity's that are not open to the general public then they spend the nights then wake up eat and leave. We even get hours for the time we're supposed to be asleep. Although we just do random things like prank phone calls and watching movies on our iPods and stuff. Oh and pizza!

Christ you ***** a lot. I'm pretty sure every highschool requires community service. And I don't know where the hell you're getting this cult crap from. Religious cults brainwash you into worshiping some dude named "Xenu" and giving lots of money before you eventually down a paper cup of Kool-Aid. Not require you to do something nice. Schools are there to teach you, and part of what they teach is how to be a good citizen. And that entails giving back to the community. So stop whining and just do it.
