No it wont, they will come out with a new wii sooner or later just like the DS and find a way to make you feel bad if you don't buy a new one. Becides, most gamers surely don't wanna get Tennis Elbow or, carpal tunnel.

The blu-ray disks have had booming success, in fact I think there are about 1 million blu-ray player owners currently(not counting PS3's) and the attach rate is also high. Also, more studios and major retail store around the world are really pushing blu-ray while the only thing really selling HD-DVDs is the fact that most of them are hybrids, meaning they have 2 sides.HD-DVD on one side and DVD on another.
People aren't buying it for blu-ray they are buying if for games(unless they're ******ed). The problem is the PS3 needs more first party games to come out, in the summer the PS3 sale's will skyrocket past the 360s(It will also be cheaper to make).as a result ppl are like wtf 600 dollars for blue ray no ****ing way.
FYI: I'm talking about the 360s that are in peoples homes not the ones Microsoft sells to stores and, counts them as being sold to the consumer.
where as Sony counts the systems sold by how many are in peoples homes not the number in stores(because it would be up to 6 million).
