    Default Problems with GameGuard

Recently I have started having problems with mmorpgs protected by GameGuard. After GameGuard loads it immediately shuts down giving error code 114 asking to restart etc. I'm having this problem with eFlyff and Mo Siang Online and Gunbound. However, pRose works just fine. I have heard that this may be due to spyware and such but I'm 100% sure that my system is clean. Any solutions, guys?

Welcome to the club. I have that problems for months and no solution yet. Believe me, 99% of Gameguard issues are Gameguard's fault.

thats because you have mcafee or norton antivirus enabled that's why you get that code 114, the only solution is restart pc

Thats a good point, It happened to me a few times, I had Peer guardian though, so all I did was unblock for an hour, firewall on windows may play a part too.

I didn't modify my Windows anyway, one day Gameguard worked, and, after a patch, it didn't work anymore. In my case it is Gameguard's fault.

I'm pretty sure it's not your computer fault, it's useless to reinstall Windows. The problem is that INCA doesn't test Gayguard enough under different environments, that's why it's crappy and not good for your system cuz it acts like a rootkit and take over your kernel.

you are most likely sitting behidn a windows XP firewall. Turn off your firewall and or clean up your PC. If you dont have any cheats / firewalls there no reason gameguard will stop you from playing it doesnt stop most people.

Make sure you have no program trying to block gayguard.

I've also had this problem with select gameguard games. In my case it is not a firewall/virus/or hack issue. And don't take down your windows firewall. Just open up the port gameguard uses. I've spent hours debugging this problem with no solution. From other online posts the only fix seems to be reformatting. But forget that.

It's possible that your version of the game is corrupt. TCP/IP isn't perfect, and maybe a few ones and zeros didn't end up in the right place when you dled the game.
Also, as it is not related to some gameguard games but is related to others it might very well be the issue. Try redownloading the client from a different site. Also delete the gameguard folder before you rienstall.

    Good Luck!

Well, I have tried ruuning Mo Siang with almost nothing else running in the background except vital system processes...no luck. It was working earlier so I guess its because dump_wmic driver was updated with new exceptions. I guess I would have to delete certain software for this game to run which is plain ridiculous. I have sent error logs from flyff gg folder to analysis for their GMs but no response so far.
