Default Why didn't these games work?

First, look at my xfire profile to check out my computer specs...

Now, I was looking forward to playing Flyff after so long! It was an ok game, but my old computer wouldn't run it well even on low, so I quit. So, I download, installed, and started it up! Ok... Now, start patching... Done... Loggin screen, sign in, choose server and character and connect. Done... Start playing on all high because you can run it that way. No?!? It was all messed up and it wouldn't stop shaking, and it was all dark and... Weird! My computer can run it, and it is Vista compatable!!! Why didn't it work?

I had wanted to try GO to see what it was like. I didn't really think I would like it, but as it was installing, I got kind of excited. Again, downloaded, installed, patched. Ok, lets run it on High in Windowed mode! Login, start game... No... The menus weren't showing up, and it was all messed up, too. I didn't even get to make a character because I couldn't see what I was doing. I quit, restart on High with full screen mode. Same... Low on window... Same... Low on full screen... SAME... Why didn't it work? Vista compatable and my computer can run it. What is the problem?

Does anyone know why these games won't work? I need a fantasy game or a medival game or some kind of rpg! I have a racer, war game, and a pirate game, and I need a mmorpg fantasy type game.

I was going to try Rappelz, but that file is huge, and it was going to take 7+ hours... -.-' And it is like 3:50PM... So, no... That would finish late at night.

Maybe Martial Heroes or Silkroad? Those are partially know for their grind and hard-to-levelness......

Last Chaos? Tried it, and it wouldn't work for me. I don't know, just wouldn't patch or anything.

RYL won't work because of that damn GameGuard, and I don't know what else to try...

Can someone suggest a game that is Vista compatable and I can run good on my computer? I know I have made a few of these threads before, but they always get off topic, and by the time I remember what I wanted, no one answered the question in the first place or helped, and people don't read ANYTHING but the first post so they won't read my latest requests... If I edit the first post it doesn't bump, if I don't bump it falls behind first page, then no one answers...

So, can anyone suggest a good free Fantasy style MMORPG that isn't anything I listed above? Or can you tell me why FlyFF and GO didn't work? Thanks...

Hmmm... Serebii as for the two games not working, it could be some program running in the background when you're in fullscreen. I get some random pop up whenever I start a new game and when I exit the game it closes... so thats all I can recommend at the moment, try window mode...

As for the new games, Martial Heroes isn't that grindy. You can get to level 50 in 2 weeks or so depending on your game dedication. Silkroad is a definite grind game, it takes years to level. >.>

Have you tried Hero Online? That game is pretty decent.

Thanks. I will go YouTube Hero Online right now. I have seen Martial Heroes gameplay, and it looks pretty cool. And people say there is a huge skill system or something... Is that true? Ahh, i'll find out if I play it.

EDIT: Omg, I thought Hero was a lame half-ass RPG, and it looks like it KICKS ASS! I am so trying that game... If I don't like it, i'll try Martial Heroes. Thanks for the help!

Well, the last time I played Martial Heroes which was a few months ago it had quite a lot of content for skills so yeah might be even more now. As for Hero Online, the skills look pretty cool later on in levels and it's popular, it has various types of mounts, armour and weapons.

Flyff problem has to do with Vista, try making it run in compatibility with XP SP2, right click shortcut and goto compatibility and select Windows XP SP2 from dropdown menu

Ahh, I just installed Hero Online and registered, now I am validating my account, then I will try. I have the latest Drivers since this computer is new and has everything up to date on it. And I don't really want to play Flyff that much... I just needed something to do...

Thanks for all the help! If Hero turns out to bite, I will try Martial Heroes.
