All joking aside, I don't think god is real for the simple fact that there is 0 evidence supporting his existence.
Like lothia said, you CAN see Oxygen, Hydrogen, Helium, Space, Carbon Dioxide, and so much more. Just because you can't see it with the human eye does not mean you can't see it at all.
I'm a realist, plain and simple.

im not even going to bother posting my opinion since nobody will read it and this thread will son be 14 pages long BUT

people need to STOP saying "omg u cant see oxygen but that exists" you ******s there are TESTS that can be carried out on elements to prove that they are there. geez.

Also.... the big bang.... "in the begining there was nothing" .. umm NO. in the beginning there was EVERYTHING compressed into a point of infinite smallness. THATS what the theory states. ALL energy in the universe was compressed into a single point and that point WAS the universe. The explosion didnt expand into anything because there was nothing for it to expand into. The entire universe was a pinpoint which exploded then expanded, thats why you cant travel outside of the universe because it hasnt expanded that far yet. Thats the theory. People need to at least get these things straight before they start throwing them around in arguments.

None of you can prove God does not exist. You just can't. There is absolutely nothing that you can throw at me that proves he isn't real. While I say this, you're probablly thinking to yourself that I can't prove that he is real. And while I won't be able to get past that thick barrier of realism and/or materialism (for some people) I can bring up a lot of things that just can't be scientifically proven. The Bible itself is the best account of all of the events that occured and is all the proof one needs to know God exists.

Believing in God requires faith. It requires the mind set to not give up when the going get's rough. I don't know how many times I've had to suffer through a ridicule due to the blatant stupidity of a person who really has no clue as to what they are talking about. Don't get me wrong, I give science a hell of a lot of credit. Without it we'd be living in a whole different world. I'm not an extreme creationist in the sense that I belive and/or take everything based on plain text. I'm more set on the idea that faith and science work together to prove the existance of a God at times.

Anywho, that's just me opinion!

But what you would have to prove god the way you are discussing is it that he created a exact formula to explain how wind moves. The fact of the matter is, why would gravity have an exact number, or air resistance? You can say they don't but do 3000 different tests using different variables but WITH the formula that has been proven and you will get the right answer. You can do manual not technological tests if you still don't believe. One way is counting how long it takes a certain object of a certain weight down a slant. Now you need a few other things such as the resistance/friction of both objects. But once you have these, you can calulate how it will take. And then do it at a different angel to see if the time still comes out the same. My point is, is that it's not just tests, maybe you are to young (I don't know how old you are First Name) but the formulas to prove such things have been done millions of times. So how can you truely say that we do not know the way wind moves?
And if you are saying it is god, then it is god doing it the same way over and over, yet you would have said that, so I am just guissing that you don't know a huge amount about physics.
Now I wasn't talking completely about wind, but I was talking about a few other things we cannot see such as gravity, and air resistance.

Yea you can do thousands of tests and "prove" that air resistance is there, but does that mean that it's actually there. What if there was something more. That's what I'm hinting at. Sure, all objects (as of now) react to wind in the same general manner, but what if there was an object that in fact didn't react to wind in a predictive manner? Would that discredit air resistance and would you still believe in it? Would it still be wind? *

Well, I see God doing great acts everyday. Sure you say that I can't "prove" his existance but can you really prove the existance of wind resistance. It goes like this: You see a leaf float in the wind; I see a man's life spared after being in a terrible accident. You see a runner going around a track and it taking him longer going around the other side because the wind is blowing against him; I see a priest bless the Holy Communion and it transforms into the Body and Blood of Christ right before my eyes.

My point is, you don't know that wind is actually there. You can't see it, you can't feel it, you can't taste it, you can't smell it, there's no proof that it's actually there besides what you see it do. I can't see God, I can't feel him, I can't taste him, and I can't taste him so there's no proof he's there besides what I see him do and that is why I beleive.
