That's one of many theories/hypothesis in Science. Christianity, has the end of the Earth written on paper by someone(i forgot name). The world will end when an army of 2 million men(China has an army of exactly 2 million men, coincidence?) merge with Russia(2 communist countries), which is very likely to happen. And attack "king of the west" (USA).

How the world will really end is that we will develop technology that develops technology for us, and that technology will develop technology faster than we can comprehend or adapt too, making us the less dominant "race." Therefore leading too our destruction. =D
