one little dumb question

i want to chage my ram. but i have friends who tell me if mine is a 512mb ram, i have to get the exact same ram to combine. the others tell me i do not have to.

so which one is correct?? my ram is a ddr2 512mb

if you are not sure, just get a friend who knows about the hardware and let him see.

if not, you can always bring your CPU down to Sim Lim Square. maybe you might want to upgrade other stuff other than RAM~
