Well, I have been looking at Shadowbane, and I think it looks cool. The graphics are old, but I have heard it is a good game, so I want to try...
My question is, when you download it from fileplant, does that mean the normal game and the expansions? The game IS FREE, and it would be stupid to make people buy the expansions. So, when you download it, is the the original game and the expansions, or just the normal game and you have to buy the expansions...
yeah i play this game, its hella fun, good PVP ( can pvp where you want without penalties)
i have like 12 maxlvl chars, vindication server is the best at the moment.
When you first time login give it a day to get into the graphics, actually end up liking the graphics
I found nice ingame baneWar video if you want to check it out:
Ok, so Vindication server. I actually kind of already like the graphics. I am used to older graphics since I only have a PS1, PSP, and DS, plus I love the older graphics. I don't know why I love blockey graphics, but I kind of do. It means something to me...... My first time playing an RPG was The Legend of Dragoon (That is what I remember...), and those graphics where blockey. I love those graphics because they where "neat". So, I don't actually care if the graphics are old.
Yeah, and oldie but a goodie. Can't wait to play it tomorrow! At 92%, then when it is done installing, I will log in to see if it works, then go to bed! So tired...... =[
Mourning is the last populated server, still not many online. Me and my guild played Shadowbane from release to date. I remember the game being so populated that we would attend banes/siges with at least 200 vs 200 or more. As the game died, Wolfteam took down server after server and we had to migrate our toons to a new server with only the clothes on our backs and our banks got left behind. Later on you could migrate with stuff in your inventory. Shadowbane today, everyone makes toons that can AoE. Since Wolfpack took out the /tar targeting system out, you cant call targets for ultimate ownage. I guess people could not handle a hard core PvP/Sige MMO like Shadowbane. The first year I played, each server had 2k or more online. Oh well RIP SB.
