Nuclear Weapons as Deterrents [Debate]

Topic Question: Do you think that nuclear weapons and/or warheads should be used as deterrents? Do you think they should be dismantled? Do you think that all nukes and/or warheads should go to NATO? It's really an open debate, I just want to hear your side.

Rules of Engagement
1. Avoid attacking people directly on their points, state your side in conflict to their points, not in conflict to them. Do not claim people are flaming just because they are attacking your points, for that isn't flaming.
2. I don't want to hear, "We have way to many nukes, get rid of them." Show supporting facts or decency of argument, don't write one liners.
3. Don't you dare say, "I agree" or "I dissagre" and thats it.
4. Honestly, be fair to realize that you probably wont change anyone's point of view, and rather offer a different perspective on it.

i dont think they should be removed completly..

countries that have history of terrioism in the lastest times should be banned

so atm places like

north korea and kim
Iraq and iran since speculations of working together with guns etc and the so called "nuclear fuel"
cant think of other places

but soon enough war will be nuclear and we will technology to protect us from that etc etc
