someone previously stated that it didn't help them, for myself i installed east asian language pack adn that did the trick. I put instructions in the other thread that has issues and fixes.

This is another fix the other guys didnt work i know it this one simply puts an english lettertype so it shows the description. This definetly works

theres nothing you can lose.... and if you don't have virus protection use an online malware scanner, and if that doesn't work then install east asian language support.

EDIT: actaully something's wrong, it keeps asking for a cd or something, that's also why i didnt install it the first time, maybe i'll try Dling sp2.

you need a windows cd, I have tried looking on the net for the language pack but its not available.

extract that to the main folder found in program files or wherever you installed it to, do not open the folder contained inside and extract, extract the folder itself into it, enjoy

installing those asian language options works too i think (forgot how it was called exactly), but some games require you too uninstal that again before u can play lol and everytime u changed it you gotto restart your pc. so ill still prefer the quickfix here, the one in the first post is the good one i think

Is it just me or is it that EVERY SINGLE TIME I have to download something that fixes everything- comes from a rapidshare link?? or a uploading website that doesn't work? Can someone for crying out loud.. Upload the file on some other site cause its totally pissing me off how RapidShare takes like 5 hours to start downloading a file (Sometimes never even starts) when some other hosting site takes less than 5 second.. Its like you guys want to torture me or something.

I'm sure everyone has a windows xp cd lying around somewhere..... install east asian language support and you'll be fine... it worked for me perfectly and you wont have to bother with these patches which you know nothing about.
