I'm trying to start a solo Black Metal band, but i need to find a program to make music! I made the songs with guitar pro 5 just to find out that you cant convert those songs to like mp3's or anything, so now im on the pursuit of a program sorta like Garageband for the Apple.

Can anyone help me out?

I actually tried that once, and I must say, I have a pretty respectable BM growly singing voice (at least I think so).

I used Fruity Loops. I'm a drummer, so drums weren't a problem, but I had no idea how to use the guitar module/whatever.

FL isn't free, but I'm sure you can figure out a way around that... :3

DONT ever go solo with metal, it wrecks the atmosphere of it all, form a band. I know that nobody seems to like metal, but keep looking around, put adverts out. People come, trust me.

Dude, a lot of black metal bands are solo.
What you do, Phantom, is go into Guitar Pro 5 and export your tab into a WAVE format file.
After that, you can get any audio editing program (I recommend Audacity - it's free) to open up your .wav file and export it once again as an mp3.

I'm in a Death Metal band with a few other people, but i want to make my own black metal band project like Varg Vikernes of Burzum and such. I think it'll just be a fun activity lol.

Also, i've tried Fruity Loops, and it was more for like gino beats and stuff.
