    Default Metin 2- Impressive

The game looks pretty neat. Is there a metin 1??

If you guys dont already know, the english version is coming this summer, but the europian version (i think it is anyway) is in english, and almost everyone speaks english on it. The website is www.metin-2.com

If you havent heard of the game yet, it is pretty interesting:

4 Playable Classes- Warrior, Ninja, Shaman, and Sura (battle mage)

    Great Graphics

    Awesome Oriental Theme

You can attack multiple monsters at once for easier leveling, monsters also fight in pacts so watch out!

You barely ever use the mouse: Use WASD or arrows to move and space to attack. Its got a really actiony game play similar to dynasty/samurai warriors

Horse mounts that increase in size depending on certain quests u complete

PvP anywhere, as long as you accept the person's challenge

    Fishing System

Upload your own music into the game!

    Mine System

    Craft Weapons

    Transformation Skills

If you would like to meet me ingame, I am a level 5 shaman, IGN Austina.

    Yea, there's a Metin 1.

If you ever played DarkAges and Lineage, then this is basically a combination of those two games.

    http://www.arsmagna.jp/

That's Metin 1's Japanese web site.

Metin 1 uses the exact same controls as Metin 2.

    Search, BTW.

There's a ton of Metin 2 threads here.

Too bad its going P2P after beta, you cant level further after level 15 without paying a fee.

''Basically what the site is telling you is that there is no cost to play the game aside from what you pay your internet provider for service.

As the site states the current plan is that the game will be free to play up to lvl 15. Once you get to level 15 you will be able to continue to play without advancing further. However if you wish to advance there is a fee in the form of the Game Pass.

During the Beta it is my understanding that the game is totally free so what I have described is not in affect at this time.''

Though its not sure if its going P2P:

    ''Rubbish again!

The Version here is F2P!!! You can find a proof for this on the website.

Stop telling players the lie about paying. You do not even know something and hust spam around!''

not exactly. In the game's files, you can add your music files into the BGM folder. Then while in the game, go to options, then systemoptions, then you can choose the songs u added into the folder and listen to them while you play, and change them anytime you want.

what hes saying is that if your game doesn't have its own "in-game player" you can always use the external one..... which is what i always do... i mean you will already have your playlists in your media player, why bother making a new one just for that one game?

my playlist on real player is huge though so it would probably lag the game out. The game itself is awsome though, i'm like level 6/7ish now.

all the monsters are in packs of three which is like... the opposite of GE

also for a game with graphics like this to not lag at all is pretty good, unlike SRO where you can barely walk through the town if you get a bad server ¬¬

I agree, this game was a disappointment to me to, it lacked alot of char custimization and i never did like looking as a clone =/. The only cool thing that i thought about this game was the combat system. But then again thats just an opinion.

well yes, the customization is awful, and the gender fix doesnt help either. But, I enjoy the game's music player, battle system, and most importantly: fans! Fans are my favorite weapon, I have searched for a game with fans, a good one, for over a year. Its finally come and I am thankful for it. Also, Koei is my favorite game designer. They invent games that have battle systems very similar to this game's. So yes, this game is a dream come true for me, but for you guys, I guess you guys are missing out. Oh well. I have my dream game, you all need to find yours! >.<

OK, apparently this seems like the kind of game where you can use a gamepad.

Is it possible to do so? I'm sorry, it's just that after I figured out that the 360 controller would work, I've been trying to find alot of games that would work with it.
