Eh Ive seen bigger bosses In WoW
I love Big bosses... but those bosses have some "facts" that I don't like:
1.- Normally... in an mmorpg you have a range of view for monsters... and when you come across with monsters... if it's a little one you say... oh! look! a rat! but when it's a big one you say... holy s*$t!! from where has that thing appeared? run run run! you can't see them from far away. (in wow this is a big problem).
2.- A dragon with a claw bigger than your body it's nearly impossible to simple hit one person... little monsters with the default attack one to one it's normal... but a big one... big monsters should only have area attacks
3.- "Hologramic" corpse... when you take down a big dragon you can pass through the corpse and say... ahahaha! i'm in the dragon!! it would be nice to climb up the corpse or be traped down it. at least to make a nice screenshot
4.- In mmorpgs when a "giant" hits you with his "baseball bat" doesn't make a home run... you stand like if nothing had happen asking: "did you hit me or I parried it?" Some games but, now have some system to simulate powerful blows :P (I love to fly away when hitted, and yeah I know it's not normal to love this)
I think that giant bosses with this characteristics would be total awesome :3
Reputation: 198KHII!!!!!! anyways...what part of the secret ending you are talking about? There aren't any monsters in the movie~ unless you are talking about
*SPOILER* (For those who haven't seen the movie yet)
the part where the Enigmatic Knight jumps as Xehanort summons a gigantic cliff.
Not as big as that Lineage 2 dragon thing..but still pretty big..
Last boss of Ep.2 PSO
The last bosses in this game (I haven't beaten the Ep.4 boss yet) For Ep.1 and Ep.2 have more than one form as seen in this video, this boss is called Olga Flow, and the Ep.1 boss is called Dark Falz.
The little bit of story that these games have explain how Dark Falz and Olga Flow came to be.
Dark Falz was originally a famous hunter named Red Ring Rico, who sacrificed her body to save whoever else was damned to come upon the ruins(last level of Ep.1)
I don't know about Ep.2 since I never really played it that much..But I can say I finally fought and beat Olga Flow.
Reputation: 10The everquest series has some large monsters too.
Shadow Of The Colossus... not an MMORPG, but has the coolest and most unique bosses. (in terms of actually fighting them, that is) Also, almost all of them blow away anything I've seen in an MMORPG so far in terms of size.
As for in MMOs, I don't play too many, but Lineage 2 had some huge bosses in it. Extremely boring game, but some of the bosses were massive.
Reputation: 9meh there rpgs in affect so it counts
Reputation: 10Phantasy Star Online bosses are pretty big.. Iono 'bout Universe though. Never played it. (But I want to)![]()
Reputation: 10The big blob thing in the back is hamidon
(from city of heroes/villains and the player is the tiinnnny green thing on the far left)
He might be big, but eh... it's just a giant blob. :P
Reputation: 36If only SOTC was an MMO...
Lmao at the blob.

4th is granado Espada. Not sure for the 3rd,they said it's Vanguard at the place I got it.
Ah, gotcha. I guess it does look like Vanguard... thought the game was a crappy look-alike of EQ2, so I never payed attention. And I never got into GE, so can't say I would have ever guessed that one.
As stated above, you won't see BIG until you play Shadow of the Colossus.
